Senior SoC Verification*Validation Engineer - Maidenhead - £neg
Senior SoC Engineer with at least 4 years microprocessor or ASIC systems design or verification experience and familiarity with Systems on Chip architectures - Microprocessor instruction sets, systems blocks: RAM*ROM*DSP*peripherals. The successful candidate will also have knowledge of how software integrates into the SoC architecture - Boot code, Software Stacks, Device Drivers; familiarity with Verilog*VHDL simulation tools, and testbench design; assembler programming languages, C or C++; Unix, Perl or other scripting languages. You`ll have excellent communication skills, willingness to learn new methodologies and tools, and a professional approach to coding in any language. A firm grasp of OO programming techniques and documentation standards is essential (UML) as well as enthusiasm for debugging with attention to detail.
Desirable skills include co-Verification and hardware modelling*prototyping experience; verification tools such as SPECMAN Elite* `e` programming language; verilog*VHDL Code Coverage tools; Embedded system design*RTOS`s; experience with Emulation*Acceleration technologies; experience with dynamic assertion based and*or formal properties; systemC modelling from TLM to Cycle callable abstractions; experience with embedded OS i.e. targeting an embedded Linux kernel.
